Made 2013. Shot at University West during the course Digital Graphic.
The goal of this assignment was to illustrate a saying in a triptych. I chose the saying “Two birds with one stone”. Directly translated over from Swedish to English: “Two flies in one hit”. The Swedish word for hit can in this scenario also be interpreted as “Bang”, therefore my interpretation with the pistol shot.
The shots of me and my classmate Martina Andersson was inspired by mugshots when it came to the framing and facial expressions. They were also intentionally made gritty and made to enhance facial features and textures that we normally like to hide.
